Aaaand here's another thing i worked on while i waited for my clay supply to arrive. ( which came thursday!! ^_^)


initially, i started out thinking i'd make a small bag. i didn't have a design in mind so designing this took more than a week of picking up, putting down, and completing MTO's and samples in between. it's still a work in progress, but i like how it's looking now. my twin dragons just need something to do.. or look at :) then maybe i'll move on to the lid and handle.

Just a little info on the floral headbands I just posted. A lot of people have been asking about them saying they look so pretty and dainty but wonder why they're priced differently than most headbands out in the market, so I wanted to give you guys a little peek into what actually goes into making these pretty floral pieces :) I begin by making the petal canes I will use to make flowers. I usually make them by batches so i always have several canes with the same color scheme. my pasta machine, my trusty sidekick When I've made enough canes, i cut very thin slices from these petal canes and make the flowers by hand, building each flower petal by petal. Trash to Treasure

Okay. i will not start by saying i dont have enough time to do everything i want, because it feels there never ever will be enough time.  now isnt that just a obvious attempt at fake not-mentioning that i wish i had more time? confused O_o forgive me, it's 3am and i just finished the 1st blog entry on my to do list. those darned fb games are the devil's instrument, i tell you!! stupid bubble island made me lose 1 1/2hours blog time ( and here i was saying there never is enough time when there actually IS, i just dont know how to use it :P) so where was i, really? ah. the challenge. we had a challenge this week with the theme: Trash to Treasure.  It was something really close to my heart because by nature i am a pack rat. i save stuff i think i may need "in the future". sometimes i do find a use for them, sometimes i dont, but knowing they're there when i need them is an odd comfort. 2 days before the deadline, i swam deep into my treasured mountain of trash a
